2nd Annual Original Prize

Well it's that time of year again, when hundred and hundreds of artists are competing in the Searchlight CBC Contest. Hwy 11 Records wants to award a prize to those in the Northern Ontario area, as we know all too well the challenge of living in a remote Canada. Big thanks to our sponsors which include Blues411 who have offered radio play to the top rated blues or roots artist in the contest and to Musicians Atlas who has offered an annual PRO membership for a year to their service which includes a listing of numerous music related industry contacts to help some northern Ontario artist continue their journey. Hwy 11 Records is also giving the winner $100.

The following artists made it to our TOP Seven list, and now we have a another round of listening and judging. Judges are comprised of artists, musicians, writers and music fans. A range of genres are included from rock, folk, blues, r&b and singer songwriter. Please check them all out, vote for them if you feel so inclined and share with your friends to show them support, as they are all competing in the National CBC Searchlight contest.
